Intelligence Centre Data Specialist at UEFA

Matteo Franza began their work experience in 2013 as an intern at Presidio Sanitario SAN Camillo. Matteo interned with the company from January 2013 to June 2013. In 2015, they returned to Presidio Sanitario SAN Camillo for another internship, which lasted from February 2015 to February 2016.

In 2016, Matteo Franza joined EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) as a Doctoral Researcher. Matteo held this role from March 2016 to September 2020. After that, they transitioned to being a Postdoctoral Researcher at EPFL, a role they held from September 2020 to February 2021.

In 2021, Matteo Franza joined The GRAPH Network as a Data Analyst. Matteo worked in this role from November 2021 to January 2022.

Most recently, in 2022, Matteo Franza joined UEFA as an Intelligence Centre Data Specialist. Matteo started this role in January 2022 and is currently still employed there.

Matteo Franza began their education by completing a 15-day course at Calliopée Sàrl, where they studied the PMI® and SCRUM™ approaches, specifically focusing on PMI® Authorized PMP® Exam Preparation.

In 2010, Matteo enrolled at the Università degli Studi di Torino, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, which they completed in 2013. Matteo then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Psychology at the same institution, graduating in 2015.

Matteo then shifted their focus to neuroscience and joined EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) in 2016. Matteo engaged in doctoral studies and successfully earned their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Neuroscience in 2020.

In 2020, Matteo further expanded their educational qualifications by enrolling at the EPFL Extension School, where they pursued a Diploma of Education, specializing in Applied Data Science: Machine Learning. Their studies in this field were completed in 2021.
