Robert Christian Pongracz

Robert Christian Pongracz has a diverse work experience in the sports and entertainment industry. Robert Christian is currently working as a Senior Director of Global Account Management for Football Events at IMG, a global sports and entertainment company. In this role, they are responsible for talent representation, sports operations, event management, and brand licensing.

Prior to joining IMG, Pongracz worked at UEFA as a Football Operations Specialist, where they oversaw various projects and provided training to match managers and venue directors. Robert Christian also served as a Venue Director and Match Manager for UEFA EURO 2020. Additionally, they worked as a Match Operations Observer, assessing and supervising operational measures for international matches.

Pongracz was a Board Member at European Leagues and played a key role in representing professional leagues at national and international platforms. Robert Christian was also the Executive Vice President of Liga Profesionista de Fotbal, where they supported the restructuring of the official competition Liga 1 and contributed to enhancing revenue streams.

Furthermore, Pongracz served as a Lecturer/Professor on football leagues and their role in today's football structure at ISDE Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía. Robert Christian provided knowledge on professional football leagues and motivated students with legal backgrounds.

Earlier in their career, Pongracz worked at LaLiga as the Head of International Affairs and Personal Assistant to the President, where they represented the league and strengthened relationships with international football stakeholders. Robert Christian also had advisory/collaboration roles at Club Atlético de Madrid and Saatchi & Saatchi.

Robert Christian Pongracz has a diverse education history. In 2003, they began pursuing their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) at Schiller International University, specializing in Business/Managerial Economics. Robert Christian successfully completed their degree in 2005.

In 2007, they enrolled at ISDE and earned a Master's degree in International Sport Law (LLM) in 2008. This program focused on the legal aspects of sports.

Continuing their education, Robert pursued an Executive Master's degree in European Sport Governance (MESGO) from Sciences Po from 2012 to 2014. This program provided him with a deep understanding of governance in sport institutions.

In 2021, Robert participated in the Business of Entertainment, Media and Sport program (BEMS 2021) at Harvard Business School, where they gained knowledge in the business aspects of the entertainment, media, and sports industries.

Additionally, Robert has obtained several certifications to enhance their skill set. Robert Christian earned a PMP certification from PM ACCESS in May 2020, improving their project management capabilities. In March 2020, they completed a course titled "Writing a Compelling Blog Post" from LinkedIn, and in July 2017, they received training in "Writing to be Heard on LinkedIn" from the same platform. These certifications demonstrate their efforts to enhance their writing skills and professional presence on LinkedIn.
