Sylvain LACOMBE has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades. Sylvain began their career in 1996 as a responsible for determined missions at Groupe Symbiose. Sylvain then worked as a financial agent at La Banque Postale before becoming a logistical agent at ASICS. From 2000 to 2002, they served as a hotline agent on telephony and ADSL customers at France Telecom.

In 2002, Sylvain joined ASICS as a logistical agent before transitioning to Dell in 2003 as a Business Operations agent. At Dell, they led projects and improved logistical incidents within the company's suppliers' dedicated teams. Sylvain also created and supported operational processes for the French and Moroccan teams. Sylvain was responsible for executive escalations implementation and ensured customer satisfaction after the initial sale.

In 2005, Sylvain took on the role of a telesales operator in telephony at Teleperformance France for a few months before joining Orchestra Kazibao as a hotline engineer responsible for Spain and the export department. In this role, they were responsible for IT purchasing, global partnership developments, and the organization of shop openings.

From 2006 to 2009, Sylvain worked at ESII Media Accueil as a technical and customer support representative. Sylvain provided software and hardware customer support, managed projects, conducted training sessions, troubleshooting, and crisis management. Sylvain also transferred competencies to the support department and performed configuration management tasks.

In 2009, Sylvain joined UEFA as an ICT consultant and later became the ICT Service Desk Team Lead. Sylvain was responsible for incident and problem management, hardware and software validations, and providing direct support to UEFA top management board members. Sylvain also worked as the VVIP Support & Innovation Manager, where they acted as the Single Point of Contact for UEFA top management representatives. Sylvain owned several critical solutions and ensured the needs of top executives were met.

Sylvain's most recent role at UEFA is head of ICT Services & Operations, a position they have held since 2022. In this role, they manage a unit responsible for cybersecurity and infrastructure services, workplace and support, and events operations. Sylvain is focused on transforming and modernizing UEFA's ICT operations and collaborating with business colleagues.

In addition to their extensive work experience, Sylvain also played a key role in ICT operations during EURO 2016 and EURO 2020 as an ICT Venue Manager. Sylvain worked on the support of ICT operations for various venues, ensuring the best experience possible for participants and stakeholders.

Sylvain Lacombe attended the University of Montpellier from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a DEUG degree in Legal studies.
