Tim Goodacre

Tim Goodacre is a distinguished plastic, reconstructive, and cleft surgeon with extensive experience in clinical practice and medical governance. Since 2000, Tim has served on the Council and Cases Committee of the Medical Defence Union, specializing in clinical negligence instructions. Tim has held positions on the BAPRAS Council since 2011, including Past Chair of Professional Standards and President in 2011, and currently represents BAPRAS on the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes (UEMS) since 2014. As a Consultant Surgeon at Manor Hospital from 1991 until early 2023 and at John Radcliffe Hospital until July 2020, Tim focused primarily on Cleft Lip & Palate surgery. Tim is a graduate of St Thomas's Hospital Medical School, where a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MB BS) degree was obtained.
