Brian Power

Brian Power has a strong background in compliance and auditing. Brian is currently the Director of Compliance at UF Health, a position they have held since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Conflicts of Interest Director at the University of Florida from July 2020 to July 2022. From November 2017 to July 2020, Brian served as the Director of Regulatory Compliance at the University of Florida College of Medicine. Before that, they held roles at UF Health, including Senior Compliance Legal Specialist from February 2017 to November 2017 and Compliance Specialist from October 2014 to February 2017. Brian's early career included positions at First Coast Service Options, Inc., where they worked as a Senior Auditor from April 2013 to September 2014, Auditor In-Charge from March 2011 to April 2013, and Auditor from February 2009 to March 2011.

Brian Power attended FAMU College of Law from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Doctor of Law - JD degree. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science - BS in Business Administration - Accounting from the University of Central Florida from 2004 to 2008. In addition, Brian has obtained several certifications including Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified in Health Care Privacy Compliance (CHPC), Certified in Health Care Compliance (CHC), and is a Licensed Attorney through the Florida Bar.
