Through a partnership of these two organizations, we are currently seeking a licensed clinical mental health professional to join our team and work full-time at Emory University’s Hillel, located in Atlanta. Each year, Emory Hillel serves over 1,500 students, most of whom are not from the Atlanta area and are living far away from family for the first time. This person will be fully-integrated into the Hillels of Georgia professional team and will be expected to join team meetings, retreats, and trainings.
Beginning July 1, 2024, this professional will provide counseling services to undergraduate and graduate students on site at Emory Hillel. They will deliver client-centered social services, education, training, and support for Hillel professionals and students in a collaborative community setting. The clinician will be an employee of JF&CS who will report to the Emory Hillel Campus Director and will be supported by the Hillels of Georgia CEO, while also receiving clinical supervision from JF&CS.
The ideal candidate has strong clinical expertise, experience working with young adults, and the cultural competency required to work in a Jewish environment with Jewish clientele. Availability on Shabbat, nights, and weekends is required as necessary.
