Faisal Baig

Faisal Baig has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Faisal most recently worked as a Software Engineer II at UFG Insurance starting in November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Encova Insurance from 2019 to 2021, where they held two roles: Developer I and Integration Developer. In these roles, they resolved production support incidents, completed code change requests, developed forms and info screens, and played a key role in the successful release of a project.

Before their time at Encova Insurance, Faisal worked at Sogeti as a Consultant and Associate Consultant from 2018 to 2019. In these roles, they were a Front-End Lead and collaborated with digital marketing providers, implemented third-party tools, and ensured cross-browser compatibility. Faisal also improved web services and presence for Ascena Retail Group brands.

Faisal's work experience also includes a role as Customer Service and Sales Representative at Best Buy from 2014 to 2019, where they gained extensive experience in sales and customer care for home appliances. Faisal effectively communicated technical terms to non-technical audiences.

Faisal also worked as a Web Developer at Surdo Solutions LTD from 2017 to 2018, creating and maintaining websites for businesses/clients.

Additionally, Faisal worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center from 2014 to 2016, where they gained experience with various lab techniques and trained new lab members in frozen section procedures.

Faisal'searliest work experience was as a Sales Associate at hhgregg in 2013, where they gained commission sales experience and assisted with marketing displays.

Faisal Baig began their education at Hilliard Darby High School from 2009 to 2013. Faisal then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Neuroscience at The Ohio State University, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Faisal's educational journey continued as they enrolled in Franklin University in 2021 to pursue a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science. Faisal is expected to complete their studies at Franklin University in 2024.
