Jin Meng

Jin Meng has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. They started their career as an Actuarial Clerk at Transamerica in 2013, before moving on to become an Intern at Verisk Analytics in 2017. In 2018, Jin joined UFG Insurance as an Intern and later transitioned to the role of Data Scientist in 2020. Jin also worked as a Teaching Assistant at The University of Iowa from 2014 to 2020. Overall, Jin has gained valuable experience in actuarial work, data analytics, and teaching.

Jin Meng's education history begins with a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science from Shandong University of Finance and Economics, which was earned between the years 2007 and 2011. Following this, Jin participated in a Study Abroad Study Program focused on Mathematics at Arkansas State University during 2010 and 2011. Subsequently, Jin pursued a Master's degree in Actuarial Science, which was completed from 2012 to 2014 at the University of Iowa. Lastly, Jin went on to attain a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Iowa between the years 2014 and 2020.
