Kelly E. Goins, CIC, CWCP, ACSR has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Starting in 1982, Goins worked as a Bookkeeper at Piggly Wiggly Carolina before transitioning to a Customer Service Representative role at State Farm in 1984. In 1986, Goins joined Amerisafe, Inc., where they held various positions, including Sr. VP Underwriting Operations. During their 35-year tenure at Amerisafe, Goins demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, managing a staff of 60 employees and consistently delivering strong financial results. They were also involved in strategic decision-making as part of the Management Team and played a crucial role in driving organic growth. In 2022, Goins joined UFG Insurance as the Corporate Underwriting Workers Compensation Manager, where they oversee the development and management of the workers compensation line of business. They provide technical expertise to underwriters, offer consultation to staff and business partners, and ensure adherence to risk appetite, profitability goals, and diversification strategies. Goins also serves as a mentor to others in the company.

Following this, they pursued higher education at the University of Phoenix, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Accounting and Finance from 1995 to 1997.
