Nicholas Deering Ms, Csp, Arm, Cpsi

Nicholas Deering has extensive experience in risk control and safety management. Nicholas began their career as a Safety Coordinator Intern at TIC The Industrial company in 2012, where they actively participated in the safety team and assisted in People Based Safety team discussions. In 2013, they worked as a Health and Safety Intern at J.H. Findorff & Son Inc. In 2014, they interned as a Risk Control Intern at Liberty Mutual Insurance, and in 2015, they joined the company as a Risk Control Consultant. From 2017 to present, Nicholas has been with UFG Insurance, initially working as a Risk Control Consultant and later being promoted to Senior Risk Control Consultant and currently serving as a Risk Control Field Manager.

Nicholas Deering holds a Master's Degree in Risk Control from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, which they obtained from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Construction from the same university, from 2010 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications to enhance their professional expertise. Nicholas is a Certified Safety Professional and an Associate Safety Professional accredited by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. Additionally, they hold an Associate in Risk Management certification from The Institutes and a Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) certification from The National Recreation and Park Association. Furthermore, they have completed courses such as OSHA 10 HR and OSHA 30 HR offered by Bryan Beamer.
