Onofrio Defina

Onofrio Defina has a diverse work experience, starting from their time in the Italian Army as a Second Lieutenant for the 184° Reggimento Trasmissioni, where they supported the logistic department located abroad for peacekeeping. Onofrio then moved on to work at Altran as a Business Development Manager, managing a business unit specializing in Information Technology and Mechanical Design.

After Altran, they joined GM-FIAT WWP as a Cost Reduction Team Driver, leading two teams focused on achieving worldwide cost reduction goals for seats and thermal systems. Onofrio later joined FCA - Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, where they held various roles such as Commodity S. Manager, International Development Manager, and Product Development Responsable.

Following their time at FCA, Onofrio joined Faiveley Transport as the Supplier Quality and Purchasing Director, overseeing the Purchasing Department and implementing best practices in quality. Onofrio then joined UFI Filters USA, Inc., where they held the positions of Group Purchasing Director, EMEA and Global Aftermarket Purchasing Director, Chief Operating Officer EMEA, and currently serves as the President of UFI FILTERS USA Inc. and Chief Operating Officer AMERICAS.

In addition to these roles, Onofrio was also a Board Member at BeonD S.r.l. Overall, Onofrio Defina has a strong background in operations, purchasing, supplier quality, and business development across various industries.

Onofrio Defina attended Politecnico di Torino from 1994 to 2000, where they earned a degree in Electronics Engineering. In 2007, they enrolled at the Università degli Studi di Torino and completed a Master's in Business Administration with a specialization in Customer First in 2009. Additionally, in 2000-2001, Onofrio attended the CUOA Business School to obtain another MBA degree in Business Administration.
