Dr Shibal Bhartiya

Dr Shibal Bhartiya has a wealth of experience in the medical field. Dr Shibal began their career in 2007 as the Executive Editor of the Journal of Current Glaucoma Practice, where they were instrumental in formulating the journal's editorial policies and standards, establishing a system for effective and rapid peer review, and developing mechanisms, in cooperation with the publisher, to ensure timely publication of accepted manuscripts. In 2012, they joined Fortis Memorial Research Institute in India as a Senior Consultant in Ophthalmology, where they were responsible for Preventive Health and Glaucoma Services. In 2016, they took on the role of Clinical Director and EMR Expert at Medflow, and Consultant at CantaHealth. In 2018, they became the Founder of Vision Unlimited, and Editor In Chief of Clinical and Experimental Vision and Eye Research. In 2019, they became an Author. Most recently, in 2021, they became a Cofounder of Ufinity Life.

Dr Shibal Bhartiya's education history includes a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Maulana Azad College from 1993 to 1999, a Master of Surgery (MS) from Maulana Azad College from 2000 to 2003, a Senior Clinical Research Fellow from University of Geneva from 2010 to 2011, and a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from University of Geneva in 2016 in the field of Glaucoma, Dept of Clinical Neuroscience. Additionally, they have experience in Cornea and Glaucoma from All India Institute of Medical Sciences from 2007 to 2010.
