Alessandro Margherita

Alessandro Margherita is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in innovation management and academia. Currently serving as an Innovation Manager at Ministero dello Sviluppo Economico since June 2019, Alessandro is also a member of the Scientific Commission at AICE - Associazione Italiana di Ingegneria Economica since January 2022, and a Research Partner at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina since December 2020. In addition, Alessandro holds the position of Associate Professor at Università del Salento, where previous roles included Senior Researcher and Assistant Professor from February 2007 to December 2021. Alessandro's international experience encompasses research affiliations at prestigious institutions such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Peking University. Educational achievements include a Ph.D. in Business Engineering and an Executive Education in Technology Entrepreneurship from MIT Sloan School of Management.
