Henry Obare

Henry Obare is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in information systems and digital transformation. Currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at Uganda Airlines since February 2023, Henry also works as a Digital Transformation & PM Consultant for Eden Technics Limited. Prior roles include Directorship at Gallop Heights Security Services and Head of Information Systems Development at Kenya Airways, where responsibilities encompassed IT project management and e-commerce solutions. Earlier positions include IT Systems Manager at Kenya Airfreight Handling Limited and various technical roles at Automated Systems Limited and Advanced I.T. & Economic Consultants. Henry holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Moi University, a Program for Management Development from the University of Cape Town, and is currently pursuing an MBA in Information Systems Management from the University of Nairobi, along with a PMP certification.
