Sylver Kyeyune

Sylver Kyeyune has an extensive work experience in risk management and compliance. Most recently, they have been working as the Director of Risk at Uganda Development Bank since November 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Risk Management at Pride Microfinance Ltd MDI from 2013 to 2021. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Manager of Risk & Compliance and Risk Analyst at PRIDE Microfinance Ltd MDI from 2009 to 2013. They also served as an Internal Auditor - Risk at PRIDE Microfinance Ltd MDI from 2008 to 2009.

Sylver Kyeyune has a strong educational background in business administration and finance. Sylver obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance from Makerere University, where they studied from 2011 to 2013. Prior to their MBA, Sylver earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree in Accounting from the same university, studying from 2002 to 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Sylver has also pursued various certifications and training programs to enhance their skills and knowledge. Sylver holds a Certified Cyber Security Specialist (CCSS) certification from Meirc Training and Consulting, attained in July 2021. Furthermore, they completed a Certificate in Big Data And Data Analytics from Meirc Training and Consulting in March 2018. Sylver also acquired expertise in banking and finance strategies through a program at the Galilee International Management Institute (GIMI) in June 2017. Additionally, they attended the Senior Management Leadership Programme at the Strathmore Business School (SBS) in March 2017. Prior to that, they completed a Certificate of Completion in Strategy Execution from the American Management Association in August 2016. Lastly, Sylver obtained an ISO 31000 Certified Risk Manager certification from PECB in February 2015.
