The Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) is a semi-autonomous government agency established by an Act of Parliament in 1998. URSB is responsible for civil registrations, business registrations, registration of patents and intellectual property rights, handling of insolvency matters and the Security interest in movable property registry system (SIMPO).
