Matthew Nickel

Matthew Nickel has a diverse professional background, beginning as a Warehouse Clerk at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Matthew then transitioned into various roles at HMSA, including Business Lead, ERM Analyst, and Senior Business Analyst. Matthew also served as a Legislative Aide at the Hawaii State House of Representatives. Currently, Matthew holds positions at UHA Health Insurance as a Regulatory Compliance Administrator and Contract Relationship Coordinator. Additionally, Matthew is a Co-Founder of Books 4 Keiki and has served as a Board of Director and Vice President at The Risk Management Society - Hawaii Chapter. Matthew earned their Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Hawaii at Manoa after attending Iolani School for their secondary education.
