Michael Ophoven

Michael Ophoven, CFE, currently serves as the Director of People M&A - Measurement at UnitedHealth Group, a position held since March 2016. With a robust background in compliance and internal auditing, Michael has previously held roles as Associate Director of Compliance Investigations, Compliance Investigations Consultant, and Internal Audit Consultant, where responsibilities included process risk assessment, project oversight, and communication facilitation with clients. Prior to UnitedHealth Group, Michael worked as a Senior Internal Auditor at Myers and Stauffer LC, conducting comprehensive audits for healthcare facilities, and held positions at Principal Financial Group and Cedar Fair Entertainment Company, focusing on financial analysis and internal auditing. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science and Accounting from Drake University.
