Gillian Galloway is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in innovation and technology within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as the Head of Innovation and Technology at Highlands and Islands Enterprise since August 2015, Gillian focuses on developing strategies for economic growth through business innovation and technology adoption. In addition, Gillian is a Non-Executive Board Member at UHI Inverness and previously held roles as a Research Assistant at the University of Aberdeen and as Project Director at the Centre for Health Science, where efforts aimed at enhancing healthcare collaboration and service delivery in the Highlands and Islands. Prior experience includes ten years as an R&D Project Manager at LifeScan and a Research Assistant in Haematology at the University of Dundee. Gillian holds a BSc (Hons) in Science with Management Studies from Edinburgh Napier University, a PgD in Biomedical Science from Glasgow Caledonian University, and is currently pursuing Executive Education in Disciplined Entrepreneurship at MIT Sloan School of Management. Additionally, Gillian completed the Director Development program at the Institute of Directors.
