Kurt Shaner

Kurt Shaner is an experienced recruitment professional with a strong background in talent acquisition and human resources. Currently serving as the Director of Recruitment Operations at UHS since September 2016, Kurt oversees recruitment and HR technology processes for over 300 hospitals across the United States, supporting a workforce of more than 90,000 employees. Previously, Kurt worked as a Senior Recruiter for Executive and Corporate offices at BrightView Landscapes and provided strategic talent acquisition expertise at Walgreens Boots Alliance. Earlier career roles include National Recruiter at Medstaff Inc Healthcare Solutions and Member Services Representative at YMCA. Kurt holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Political Science from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and an Associate’s degree in Business from Reading Area Community College.
