Michele Rambo

Michele Rambo is the current Senior Director of Finance at UIC Technical Services. Michele has over 25 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a focus on the defense industry.

Michele began their career at Technica LLC, where they served as the Chief Financial Officer from July 2021 to January 2022. In this role, they oversaw all operational finance, accounting, pricing, and project finance for a large business focused on supporting the Defense Industrial Base. Technica employs over 1100 logistics professionals, virtually all of which are under Collective Bargaining Agreement.

From December 2013 to July 2021, Michele served as the Chief Financial Officer at UICGS / Bowhead Family of Companies. In this role, they had overall executive leadership and management responsibility for FP&A, Accounting and Audit, Financial Compliance, Program Control, Project Finance, Business Systems, M&A, Pricing, Treasury and Tax. Michele managed a high-performing team comprised of over 70 individuals geographically disbursed across the United States. Michele was also an executive leader and key stakeholder in a company-wide ERP implementation of Deltek Costpoint, Time Collection, Cobra, PM Compass, Contracts, Materials Management, Govwin and Qlikview. Michele oversaw the relationship with DCMA and DCAA and all corresponding compliance efforts in a CAS covered environment. Additionally, Michele was responsible for the development and submission of the initial Disclosure Statement. Michele developed and implemented the first Project Finance/Program Control team

Michele Rambo has a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from The Catholic University of America and is currently completing their Masters in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services at George Mason University.
