Arghya Chakrabarty

Arghya Chakrabarty has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and management. 👨🏻‍💻 Arghya currently serves as a Principal Software Engineer at UiPath since August 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Principal Engineering Manager - Product at UiPath from April 2021 to July 2022, where they contributed to the development and guidance of the team, as well as design, feature cost, and scoping. Arghya was also a founding engineer for UiPath Studio Web, a cross-platform RPA workflow development studio, where they led the initial planning, designing, and building of the team.

Before joining UiPath, Arghya worked at Accolite as a Technical Delivery Manager from January 2016 to November 2018. During their time there, they built and managed small to medium-sized engineering teams and worked on enterprise applications, web services, and automation tools. Prior to that, they were an Associate Technical Delivery Manager at Accolite, where they played a key role in building an e-commerce platform for a leading telecom provider.

Arghya's work experience also includes a role as a Development Lead at BT from November 2013 to November 2018, where they focused on B2B e-commerce site development and infrastructure for global corporate customers. Additionally, they served as a Senior Software Engineer at ABCO Advisory Services India Private Ltd, working on health care software products in the US market, and as a Programmer Analyst at Cognizant Technology Solutions, where they developed web-based insurance applications using various technology stacks.

👨🏻‍💻 Arghya Chakrabarty completed their B.Tech degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata, from 2003 to 2007. Prior to that, they attended Jadavpur Vidyapith, where they pursued their High School education with a focus on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, and Literature. In addition to their formal education, Arghya Chakrabarty obtained various certifications in fields such as Stock Market Basics (from Zerodha), Microsoft .NET Framework - Application Development Foundation (from Microsoft), Annuity Principles and Products (from LOMA), Principles of Insurance (from LOMA), RPA Developer Foundation, and UiPath Orchestrator 2018.2 (both from UiPath).
