Chris Colwell

Chris Colwell has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Their most recent position was at UiPath, where they held the role of Vice President of Sales Engineering - Americas. In this role, they led a team of Enterprise Architects, Sales Engineers, and Business Analysts, guiding them in incorporating UiPath's AI and automation capabilities into customer technology stacks. Prior to this role, Chris served as the Vice President - Strategic Engagements & Business Operations, overseeing the development of scalable models and industry-specific solutions to enhance the company's global go-to-market strategy.

Before joining UiPath, Chris worked at Capital Group as the Intelligent Process Automation COE Lead and Assistant Vice President, where they focused on defining and driving the operating model evolution across Investment Operations. Chris also held various roles at Capital Group, such as Business Architecture Specialist, Senior IT Project Analyst, Application Support Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, and Programmer Intern.

Chris started their career in 2005 as an IT Intern at Rockwell Collins. Overall, Chris has a strong background in sales engineering, strategic engagements, customer success, business operations, and business architecture, with a focus on automation and technology integration.

Chris Colwell earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Computer Science from UC Irvine from 2003 to 2007. Chris later pursued an MBA with a focus on Entrepreneurship at Pepperdine Graziadio Business School from 2010 to 2012. In 2011, they also attended Fudan University for a short period to study International Business. Moreover, Chris obtained certifications including CFA Investment Foundations from the CFA Institute in 2016 and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2011.
