Edward Challis

Edward Challis is an experienced professional in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Currently serving as the Head of AI Strategy at UiPath since August 2022, Edward also acts as an Honorary Researcher at UCL's Centre for Artificial Intelligence and previously worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Machine Learning at UCL. Edward co-founded and served as CEO of re:infer from April 2015 to July 2022, a platform focused on mining and automating enterprise service conversations. Earlier career roles include Directorship at Data Science Systems, a Machine Learning Engineer position at Skimlinks, and research affiliations at institutions including the University of Sussex and Microsoft. Edward holds a Ph.D. in Machine Learning from UCL, an MSc in Artificial Intelligence from The University of Edinburgh, and a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Bristol.
