Ion Dinica

Ion Dinica has a diverse work experience in various technology roles. Ion started their career as an Electronics Technician at Centrul pentru Servicii de Radiocomunicatii, where they maintained and repaired Tetra radiocommunication equipment at the international Henri Coanda Airport. Ion later became a Team Leader, responsible for managing and supervising a small team.

Ion then worked at SNC-Lavalin as a Support Analyst, providing level 2 and 3 support for various applications. Ion also served as an Analyst Programmer, developing and maintaining IIS web applications and MS SQL databases.

Following that, Ion joined Microsoft, where they held multiple roles. Ion worked as an Azure Cloud Integration Engineer, providing developer support for applications running on Microsoft Azure cloud services. Ion also served as a Cloud Solution Architect, driving the deployment of cloud and enterprise solutions in Azure. Additionally, they worked as a Technology Solutions Professional, where they played a key technical role in shaping customer decisions to adopt Microsoft infrastructure and application development solutions. Ion eventually became a Cloud Solution Architect (ISV Technical Lead / TE), leading digital transformation workshops and architecture sessions for CTOs and VP R&Ds.

Currently, Ion is a Senior Software Engineer/Tech lead at UiPath. In this role, they have contributed to developing new products, such as an automation suite and a cloud proxy. Ion has also worked on an internal tool for generating on-demand environments used for customer demos, labs, and testing.

Ion Dinica has a diverse education history. In 2015, they obtained certification in "Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions" from Microsoft. In 2009, they received a CMA degree in Information Technology from Crystal Mind Academy. From 2003 to 2007, they pursued a University degree in Management Information Systems, General from Spiru Haret University. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2003, they studied Physics at the University of Bucharest. Ion also holds a High School diploma in Informatics from Dimitrie Bolintineanu High-School, which they received in 2000. In addition to their educational achievements, Ion has acquired several certifications including "Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate," "Worldwide Communities - Community SME 2018," "Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions," and "Event Speaker Silver" from Microsoft, and "Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions" from Pearson VUE. Ion has also been recognized as a "Worldwide Communities - Community SME 2019" by Microsoft.
