Suman Purkait

Suman Purkait began their work experience at Augustus Law Chambers as an Associate from May 2012 to December 2015. They then joined ICICI Lombard as a Legal Manager from January 2016 to March 2019. Currently, they are working at Ujjivan Small Finance Bank, where they have held the positions of Assistant Manager Legal from March 2019 to July 2021, Manager Legal from July 2021 to March 2023, and Chief Manager Legal from February 2023 to the present.

Suman Purkait attended St. Paul's Mission School in Kolkata from 1991 to 2006, where they studied commerce. They then pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree at Gujarat National Law University in Gandhinagar from 2007 to 2012, specializing in banking, corporate, competition laws, international trade laws, real estate, and securitization laws.
