Michal Kvasnicka is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in nuclear physics and high-performance computing. Currently serving as a reactor physics engineer at Nuclear Research Institute Rez plc since May 2009, Michal specializes in nuclear fuel loading pattern optimization for PWR reactors and neutron physics. Prior experience includes leading a division as an HPC specialist at SPRINX Systems, where expertise in high-performance computing technologies, parallel programming, and supercomputer design was developed. Michal's early career encompassed research and development of passive radar technology at Era a.s. and work as a research associate at Charles University in Prague, focusing on theoretical and instrumental seismology. Michal holds an RNDr. degree in Geophysics and Seismology from Charles University and has a background in electrical engineering from the Secondary School of Electrical Engineering in Prague.
