Gill Turner Lay Chartered McIpd

Gill Turner Lay has over 25 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on organizational development, culture change, and people strategy. Gill is currently the Director of People and Operations at the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, where they lead a team of 500 scientists in providing data and insights for a healthy environment. Prior to this role, Gill was the Head of People at the UK Atomic Energy Authority, where they played a key role in transforming the organization's culture and overseeing various HR functions. Gill has also held positions at Aylesbury Vale District Council, Civil Nuclear Constabulary, STFC, South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse District Councils, BMW Financial Services, and House of Fraser, gaining extensive experience in HR consulting, business partnering, and personnel management. Gill is a Chartered Member of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development), demonstrating their expertise and commitment to the HR profession.
