Nick Wells has a strong background in research, innovation, and marketing. Nick started their career in 1999 as the Head of Marketing at Cancer Research Technology. In 2007, they moved to the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology, where they served as the Head of Research & Innovation Services until 2014. Nick then joined the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology as the Director of Impact & Innovation, a role they held until 2019. Currently, they work as the Managing Director at UKCEH Enterprise.
Nick Wells has a BSc in Pathobiology from the University of Reading, an MBA from The Open University, and a DPhil from the University of Oxford. Nick'sDPhil thesis focused on the post-translational modification of human topoisomerase II isoforms.
