Professor Paula Harrison is a Principal Natural Capital Scientist at the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, where responsibilities include coordinating work between the Centre and Lancaster University in Environmental Data Science, focusing on the operationalization of natural capital and ecosystem service concepts in the context of climate change. Previously, as a Senior Research Scientist at the University of Oxford, research areas encompassed quantifying the contributions of various organisms to ecosystem services, developing mathematical models, and assessing climate change impacts and adaptation through integrated sectoral models. Currently, Professor Harrison coordinates the EU FP7 project IMPRESSIONS and has recently completed the CLIMSAVE project.
