Clare Freer has a diverse work experience in the sports industry, with positions in various organizations. Clare began their career in 2002 as a Product Development Manager at Prozone Sports Ltd, specializing in sports match analysis and performance enhancement. From 2005 to 2008, they worked at Opta Sports as a Project Manager, responsible for managing high-profile sport-specific and media clients. Clare then joined PMP Consultancy as a Sports Management Consultant, working on strategic projects and managing budgets. In 2011, Clare served as the Country Manager (Botswana) for Cricket Without Boundaries, collaborating with local organizations to deliver cricket development programs. Clare later moved on to Sports Coach UK, where they served as a Coaching Network Manager, overseeing multiple projects and managing partnerships to support coaching development in different regions of the UK. Finally, Clare currently works at UK Coaching, starting as a Relationship Manager and progressing to higher roles such as Partnership and Policy Manager, Senior Partnership Development Manager, and currently as the Head of Partnership Development. Clare'sresponsibilities involve collaborating with strategic partners to understand their needs and develop solutions to benefit the coaching industry.

From 1999 to 2002, Clare Freer attended the University of Gloucestershire and obtained a First Class Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Sport and Exercise Science.
