Georgina Blower is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as Senior Junior Counsel at the UK Covid-19 Inquiry and as a Barrister at The 36 Group. With extensive experience as a Grade 3 CPS prosecutor, Georgina has prosecuted and defended serious criminal cases at Farringdon Chambers and has advised women on diverse legal matters as a Legal Adviser at Toynbee Hall since 2012. Additionally, Georgina has held roles as a Ratified Employment Representative with the Free Representation Unit, providing advocacy in unfair dismissal claims since 2010, and contributed to legal research with the Law Commission and as an intern with the Texas Defender Service. Georgina's academic credentials include a Master of Laws from the University of Cambridge and a Bar Vocational Course from BPP Law School.

UK Covid-19 Inquiry
This is the independent public inquiry to examine the UK’s preparedness and response to the Covid-19 pandemic, and to learn lessons for the future. The Inquiry has been established under the Inquiries Act 2005. This means that the Chair will have the power to compel the production of documents and call witnesses to give evidence on oath.
