Heather Jones

Heather Jones has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Heather most recently served as the Head of Public Information and Commemoration at the UK Covid-19 Inquiry. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of External Affairs, Internal and Strategic Communications at the Office for National Statistics, where they led three teams and ensured corporate engagement aligned with the department's strategy. Heather also worked as the Director of the Strategy and Insight team at Freshwater, a national integrated communications agency, where they led public sector accounts and developed strategic communication plans. Earlier in their career, they served as the Regional Marketing and Media Officer at Comic Relief and an Account Manager at Markettiers4dc. Heather began their career as a Communications Assistant at VOSA, where they gained experience in media relations and content coordination.

Heather Jones holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations from Bournemouth University. In 2021, they obtained the certification of CIM MCIM Member from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing.
