Deb Hunt

Deb Hunt currently serves as the Data Protection Officer at UK Government Investments (UKGI) since March 2017, providing expert advice on data protection and conducting risk assessments to ensure compliance with legal obligations regarding personal data. Prior to this role, Deb held positions as Knowledge and Information Manager at UKGI, where responsibilities included developing strategies to enhance information flow and data quality, and as Portfolio Manager Lead within the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). Additional experience includes project management roles within the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, Shareholder Executive, UK Trade & Investment, and the Government Office for the South East, with a career beginning in database management. Deb attained a BSC Certificate in Information Security Management Principles in December 2018.
