Chris Burton

Chris Burton has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Chris is currently serving as the Business Intelligence Director at UK HealthCare since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the University of Kentucky in different positions such as Data Analytics and Reporting Manager, Business Intelligence Data Analyst Senior, and Systems Integration Analyst, starting in 2012 and ending in 2023.

Chris also has experience as a Research Technician I at ECM Biosciences, LLC from 2007 to 2012. Chris interned in Biomedical Informatics at the University of Kentucky from 2011 to 2012. Chris started their career as a Server at Malones Steakhouse from 2005 to 2007 and worked as a Student Lab/Field Technician at the University of Kentucky from 2003 to 2005.

Chris Burton holds a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Biotechnology from the University of Kentucky, which they obtained between 2000 and 2007. Chris also holds a Master's degree in Applied Computing specializing in Bioinformatics from Eastern Kentucky University, which they completed between 2009 and 2011. Chris does not have any additional certifications such as ITIL.
