Niroshna Thushapan

Niroshna Thushapan, a Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET), currently serves as a Network Planning Engineer and Project Designer at UK Power Networks since August 2020. Previously, Niroshna worked as an Electrical Design Engineer at Power On Connections from May 2015 to July 2020, focusing on the design and planning of high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) electricity connections across various sectors. Niroshna's early career includes experience as an Assistant Design Engineer at S A S Engineering (Pvt) Ltd and roles at ATI and HI Tec Electro Mech (Pvt) Ltd. Niroshna began professional development as a Trainee Engineer at CEB. Niroshna holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Peradeniya, completed in 2012, and attended Jaffna Vembadi Girls' High School from 1999 to 2007.
