Christopher Auger

Christopher Auger possesses extensive experience in quality management and accreditation, currently serving as Managing Competence and Quality at UKAS since September 2022. Previously, Christopher held key positions at BAFE Fire Safety Register, including Director of Schemes and Head of Schemes, where responsibilities included developing and reviewing scheme offerings. Prior experience includes a senior management role as UK Accreditation Manager at Bureau Veritas UK Ltd, managing accreditation processes, and serving as Assessment Manager at UKAS. Early career positions include engineering roles at Strange Strange & Gardner, HSB Engineering Ltd, Allianz Cornhill, and engineering leadership at JBA (Midlands) Ltd. Christopher holds multiple engineering-related qualifications, including a BEng(Hons) from The Open University, an HNC in Mechanical and Production Engineering, and an HND in Institutional Management.
