Robert Driver

Robert Driver is a seasoned professional in the telecommunications and technology sectors, currently serving as a Senior Advisor at UKTIN since January 2018. In this role, Robert supports the organization in launching a new innovation network for the telecommunications industry. Previously, Robert held the interim position of Head of UKTIN, where contributions included fostering collaboration among industry, academia, and government to advance telecoms R&D. As Head of UK5G, Robert led the national 5G Innovation Network initiative. Additionally, Robert is the Director of R.P.DRIVER consultancy Ltd, focusing on strategic consulting for international innovation and technology sectors. Robert's extensive experience includes serving as CEO and Board Director at Cambridge Wireless Ltd and various leadership roles at UK Trade & Investment. Robert earned a BA in History from the University of Cambridge.
