Daniel Cohen

Daniel Cohen, MPP, currently serves as the Government Engagement Coordinator at UL Standards & Engagement, having started in September 2023. Prior to this role, Daniel worked as a Policy and Administrative Assistant for the Dix Hills Fire Department, where notable accomplishments included spearheading COVID relief efforts and collaborating with FEMA for storm relief. Daniel's background also includes leadership positions at American University as a Supplemental Instruction Leader for Basic Statistics and Finance Director at the American University Club Council. Additional experience encompasses internships with The Coalition for Government Procurement and the New York State Assemblyman Steve Stern, as well as data analysis with Grassroots Analytics Campaigns. Daniel holds a Master of Public Policy in Health Policy and a Bachelor of Science in Data Sciences for Political Science, both from American University.
