Dorothea Emery Duenow

Dorothea Emery Duenow is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in corporate sustainability and communications. Currently serving as Director of Corporate Sustainability at UL Solutions, Duenow oversees the global sustainability strategy and leads ESG reporting and compliance efforts. Previous roles include Senior Manager of the Global ESG Program and Global ESG Reporting Program Manager, where Duenow pioneered initiatives in reporting and governance. Duenow's career also encompasses a background in songwriting, where notable achievements include co-writing a song featured in a nationwide T-Mobile campaign, as well as copywriting for various clients resulting in award-winning marketing deliverables. Additional experience includes a role as Sales Service Executive at Viacom and Communications Manager at Strategic Learning Initiatives, securing over $1 million in grants for educational programs. Duenow holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Chicago and attended The University of Edinburgh.
