Marie Charensol has an extensive work experience in the fashion industry. Marie is currently serving as the Vice President of Design at Ulla Johnson since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Marc Jacobs as the Design Director for The Marc Jacobs from September 2020 to August 2021. Before that, they held the position of Design Director at Sies Marjan from September 2018 to August 2020. Marie also worked as the Design Director for the Women's RTW Collection at Jason Wu from March 2012 to August 2018. Additionally, they gained experience as a Senior Designer for the Women's RTW Collection at Alexander Wang Inc. from October 2009 to February 2012. Marie started their career at Christian Dior Couture in June 2005 as a Designer for Women's RTW and Couture Collection. Marie also worked at John Galliano during the same time period as a Designer for Women's RTW Collection. Marie began their fashion career as a Design Assistant for Women's RTW Collection at Alexander McQueen from January 2005 to June 2005, and at John Galliano S.A. from June 2004 to January 2005. Marie previously served as a Design Assistant for the Couture Collection at Christian Dior Couture from May 2003 to September 2003.
Marie Charensol began their education at Bellecour School in 2000, where they pursued a Foundation degree in Fine Arts. Marie attended the school for one year, completing their studies in 2001. Following this, they enrolled at Supdemod Fashion Design and Business School from 2001 to 2004. During their time at Supdemod, Marie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion Design.
