Michael Cress

Michael Cress has extensive work experience in finance and strategy. Michael is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Smoove since May 2022. Prior to their current role, they worked as the Finance Director at My 1st Years from April 2019 to April 2022. From December 2017 to January 2019, they held the position of Finance Director at Threads Styling Ltd., a luxury social commerce business. Before that, they worked as the CFO at Kelkoo from June 2013 to December 2017. Michael also served as the Finance Director at The Digital Property Group from June 2010 to October 2012, and Allegran Limited from May 2007 to February 2010. Earlier in their career, they worked at AOL UK as a Senior Manager, Strategy from July 2002 to March 2007. Michael started their career at Schroder Salomon Smith Barney as an Associate and Analyst in the European Consumer Products Group from July 1999 to July 2002, and at Schroder & Co. as an Analyst from July 1997 to August 1999.

Michael Cress attended Harvard University from 1993 to 1997, earning a BA in Economics.
