Randal Brinks

Randal Brinks has a diverse work experience in engineering and technical roles. Randal started their career as a Relay Performance/Design Engineer Intern at ITC Holdings Corp. in 2016, where they gained knowledge of transmission grids and protection systems. Randal also updated substation data and tested relay leakage current.

In 2017, Randal worked as a Workshop Host at Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences, and in 2018, they joined Systems Control as a Senior Electrical Engineering Technician. At Systems Control, they were responsible for preparing bills of materials and production drawing packages, as well as reviewing customer spec sheets and implementing solutions on the production floor.

Furthermore, Randal worked as an Operations Technician at Michigan Technological University from 2015 to 2018. During this time, they repaired computer systems and gained hands-on experience in network design.

Currently, Randal is employed at Ulteig as a Graduate Engineer. Randal will transition into the role of a Design Engineer in March 2023.

Randal Brinks received their education in the field of electrical engineering. From 2014 to 2018, they attended Michigan Technological University where they earned their degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems. In 2017, Randal also completed a project work in Electrical Engineering at Oslo and Akershus University College.
