Abhisek Ray is a skilled Staff Scientist with experience in synthesis, characterization, and scale-up of nucleotides & fluorescent dyes. As a Senior Scientist, Abhisek has expertise in designing and synthesizing new analogs based on sequencing data. Previously, Abhisek worked as a Research Scientist II, managing projects for pharma clients at Nanosyn, and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Southern Research, focusing on developing opioid ligands. With a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Abhisek has a strong background in complex chemical synthesis and has also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Texas at Arlington. Abhisek also has experience as an Intern at BASF, specializing in fungicide synthesis and optimization.
