Jeremy Nesbitt

Jeremy Nesbitt is a Principal Engineer of Optics at Ultima Genomics, where responsibilities include developing, aligning, and testing optical systems to support the product roadmap. Previously, as Director of Optics at Ultima Genomics, Jeremy managed a team to transition optical systems from prototype to the UG100 DNA sequencing platform and collaborated with suppliers to enhance specifications. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Optical Systems Engineering at Applied Materials, overseeing a global team focused on digital lithography product development, and various roles at KLA-Tencor, including System Architect and System Engineering Manager, where Jeremy contributed to optical inspection systems and calibration algorithms. Jeremy holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Florida.
