Nate Beckett

Nate brings to Ultima over 15 years of experience leading the design and development of novel mechatronic hardware from ideation to realization. Previously, Nate was VP of R&D at Cogenra Solar, whose technology was acquired by SunPower and is applied to manufacture high volume products worldwide. Prior to that, he worked as an engineering consultant with over 20 different clean tech companies on product design and manufacturing technologies. Nate is a contributor to about 30 granted patents in various engineering fields including sequencing, solar, and automation. Nate earned dual bachelor’s degrees from Columbia University in Mechanical Engineering and from Oberlin College in Physics.
