Rahul Cheeniyil

Rahul Cheeniyil is a System Engineer and Product Engineer at Ultima Genomics since July 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Utah College of Engineering from August 2020 to December 2021, focusing on novel therapeutic applications of transcranial focused ultrasound under the supervision of Dr. Jan Kubanek. Rahul also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Utah School of Medicine from April 2017 to May 2020, where research involved the effects of high-intensity focused ultrasound on blood-spinal cord barrier opening with Dr. Donna Cross. Rahul holds a Master of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in the same field, along with minors in Chemistry and Pediatric Clinical Research, all obtained from the University of Utah.
