Kau Tien Chai

Kau Tien Chai has a diverse work experience in the field of technical training. Kau Tien started their career as a Senior Technical Training Engineer at Philips in 2000, where they conducted equipment training, designed course materials, supported customer machine installations, and performed product demos. Kau Tien then became the Manager of Technical Training in the Asia Pacific Region, where they managed a training team and conducted product training for internal and external customers.

In 2015, Kau Tien Chai transitioned to the role of Training Manager in Advance Packaging at Kulicke & Soffa. There, they managed a team of trainers, designed and developed training courses based on customer requirements, and conducted technical and soft skill courses.

From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Senior Training Engineer at STATS ChipPAC Ltd., focusing on training in the semiconductor industry.

In 2019, they joined ST Engineering as a Training & Competencies Assistant Manager, responsible for training and competency management.

Most recently, Kau Tien Chai joined Ultra Clean Technology in 2022 as a Technical Training Manager, overseeing the training activities within the organization.

Kau Tien Chai started their education in 1995 at Nottingham Trent University, where they pursued a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Kau Tien completed their studies there in 1997. Following that, they attended the University of Lincoln from 1997 to 1998 and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree in Electronics and Electrical.

In addition to their formal education, Kau Tien Chai has acquired several certifications. These include a Certificate in Design Innovation from the Singapore University of Technology and Design, which they obtained in September 2019. Kau Tien also obtained an Advanced Certificate in Training & Assessment (ACTA) from the Institute for Adult Learning Singapore in February 2018.

Kau Tien Chai has further enhanced their skills and knowledge through various online certifications. Kau Tien completed courses such as "Data Analytics Using Power BI" from the Singapore Management University in October 2022, "Developing Business Acumen" from LinkedIn in August 2021, "Learning Design Thinking: Lead Change in Your Organization" from LinkedIn in August 2021, "Design Thinking: Understanding the Process" from LinkedIn in February 2021, and "Universal Principles of Design" from LinkedIn in February 2021.

Kau Tien also obtained a Specialist Diploma in e-Learning Design & Development from Singapore Polytechnic in January 2010.
