Khang Cheow Loh has a diverse work experience spanning over 28 years. Khang Cheow currently holds the role of Director, Lean Six Sigma at Ultra Clean Technology, where they launched and established the Lean Six Sigma Foundation. Prior to this, Khang Cheow Loh worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific as the Senior Manager, PPI Business Systems, where they executed the PPI Business System roadmap and conducted training events on lean methodologies. Khang Cheow also worked as a Lean Six Sigma Trainer and Consultant at Principal Trainer and Consultant from 2015 to 2016. Additionally, Khang Cheow Loh served as the Quality Improvement Manager at FMC Technologies and held various roles at Hewlett Packard, Hewlett Packard Spore, and Hewlett-Packard Singapore. Khang Cheow has extensive experience in implementing lean manufacturing systems, training in lean modules, setting up 5S systems, and leading Six Sigma projects.
Khang Cheow Loh obtained a SPM degree in Science, Maths, and other subjects from Chung Ling High School from 1981 to 1986. Khang Cheow then attended Hwa Chong Junior College from 1987 to 1988, where they received an A Level degree in Biology, Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. From 1989 to 1993, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the National University of Singapore. Continuing their education, Khang Cheow Loh obtained a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the National University of Singapore from 1996 to 1998.
In terms of certifications, they received an Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment from the Singapore Workforce Development Agency in April 2016. In October 2015, they obtained a Certification in Training from the Human Resource Development Fund in Malaysia. Furthermore, Khang Cheow Loh is also a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified by Motorola Solutions, although the specific dates of obtaining this certification are not available.
