Nirmal Chandrasekaran has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles within the supply chain and materials management field. Nirmal is currently working as the VP Global Materials at Ultra Clean Technology, where they have achieved significant improvement in inventory turns and led various global process ownership responsibilities. Prior to that, Nirmal worked at Sanmina for a significant period, holding multiple leadership positions such as VP - Inventory & Commodity Management, VP - Supply Chain Operations & People Development, Director - Quotations, and Quotation Manager. During their tenure at Sanmina, they delivered remarkable margin and cash flow improvement, managed RFQ processes, led supply chain transformations and managed US tariff mitigations. Additionally, Nirmal gained early experience as an Analyst at New York Consulting Partners and as a Graduate Engineer Trainee at TVS Sundram Fasteners.

Nirmal Chandrasekaran's education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University, obtained from 1992 to 1996. Later, they pursued a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Binghamton University, from 1998 to 1999. Nirmal also earned an additional Master of Science degree, this time in Supply Chain Management from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, during 1999 to 2000. Nirmal then completed the Certified Professional Coach (CPC) program from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching, between 2011 and 2013. Finally, in 2015, they attended Marshall Goldsmith Coaching, specializing in Executive and Executive Team Stakeholder Centered Coaching.
